Trust Koksokhimmontazh has started implementing a project for the construction of a new coke battery at the Cherepovets Metallurgical Combine, where a unique technology for the production of coke with preliminary ramming of coal charge will be applied.
The use of such technology will increase the economic efficiency of the enterprise, as well as allow the use of almost all types of coal and significantly reduce the harmful impact on the environment.
"The technology of pre-ramming coal charge is actively used in large international projects in Europe and North America. Ramming of the charge provides an improvement in the quality of coke and allows you to use a wider range of raw materials for production. And now the leading Russian metallurgical company will use this technology. Reducing emissions in regions where large industrial enterprises are located is extremely important for improving the quality of life of citizens.
